It’s Christmas Day, family, love, food, and a steady stream of holiday movies. I tried to sneak in Die Hard, but my girlfriend put up a nice argument: the film would feel just as thrilling even if it were set in summer. I can’t say I’m entirely convinced, but it was a fun debate.
We spent last evening with my folks, which was a treat. Mom outdid herself with the classic Christmas roast—nothing beats a home‑cooked meal when you’re with the people you love. Seeing my parents again was a reminder of how lucky I am.
Today’s going to be pretty relaxed. I’ll probably tinker around with my websites, still pushing through a server migration. I expect to finish today, which will let me uninstall and reinstall Ubuntu Server. Once that’s done, I’ll have a clean slate for the next phase.
